Japanese Grilled Barbeque Steak Recipe
This Japanese Grilled Barbeque Steak Recipe is similar to Western grilled steak but infused with Japanese seasonings. The steak is specially cut, and then soy sauce, mirin, dashi, and other traditional Japanese seasonings are added as a marinade. The steak is marinated for at least 30 minutes before grilling. After grilling, the steak tastes amazing! This steak recipe is easy to make and your friends will be asking for the recipe because it is so delicious.

Tips for Making Japanese Grilled Barbeque Steak Recipe
- While I recommend waiting at least 30 minutes to marinate the steak tips, if you marinate in the refrigerator overnight, the steak tips will taste even better.
- The marinating time will slightly vary based on your cutting depth and the thickness of your steak. If you have a really thick steak, you may want to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- You can also add your favorite hot sauce to the marinade if you prefer some spice.
- I like to prepare the steak tips beforehand and then freeze them for a busy weekday night or grill party that we have planned on a later date. These steak tips can be frozen in the marinade for a later date. You can simply defrost the steak tips and grill them for your next barbeque party!
