Tips for Making Easy, 4 Ingredient, No Bake, Oreo Cheesecake Recipe

  • In this recipe, I show how to make homemade Oreo crust, but you can also buy store-bought crust to make the recipe even easier.
  • In this recipe, I crushed the Oreos with a spatula and an ice-cream scoop. However, there are multiple methods for crushing the Oreo cookies. I also find that putting the Oreos into a Zip-lock bag, and crushing them by hand is a good method. If you are struggling to crush the Oreos, please try using a Zip-lock bag instead.
  • In this recipe, there is no additional sugar added besides the sugar from the Oreos. If you prefer a sweeter cheesecake, feel free to add some additional sugar to the filling.
  • I find that 2 tbsp of butter is a good ratio for the 15 Oreo cookies. However, if for some reason the altitude or other effects prevent the cookies from being mushed together, please add more melted butter. The Oreos should not be crumbly.
  • In the recipe, I use Saran wrap below the crust to make pressing the Oreos easier. The Saran wrap is also useful when finished chilling the cheesecake. The cheesecake can easily be removed from the pie dish by pulling up on the Saran wrap.
