Japanese curry is different than other Asian curry. Thai and Indian curry is much spicier than Japanese curry. Japanese curry is sweeter and always served with rice. There are three different levels of spiciness; mild, medium hot, or hot, but they do not compare with the spiciness of Thai or Indian curry. Japanese curry is much milder, and sweeter than other curry. This is probably why kids love it so much!
